OSDP File Transfer

You have access to OSDP File Transfer, and you will be able to use it here as soon as it is ready. This page already lists what it will do and what you will need.

What it Will Do

  • Sends a file you choose to a reader using the OSDP file transfer commands, and shows the progress and the reader’s answers.
  • Starts a Secure Channel session first when the reader will only accept a file over one. Use the default key (SCBK-D) or type your own; the key stays in the page.
  • Is built to be simple to use: choose the file, check the reader, send.

Nothing you choose is uploaded to our servers. The file is read in your browser and sent straight to the reader over your adapter.

What you Will Need

  • The file to send, and a reader that accepts files over OSDP, wired to the adapter, with its address and baud rate.
  • If the reader needs a Secure Channel, its key (or the default key if it is in install mode).
  • Desktop Chrome or Edge with a USB-to-RS-485 adapter. Your browser asks you to choose the adapter, and the page can only use the one you pick.
  • Only one tab can use the adapter at a time, so close any other OSDP Tools tab that has it open.
